The first tip is quite plain and simple – get up early. If you are a night person, this can be a bit difficult to do. However, practice makes perfect. Practice sleeping as early as possible so you can start the next day early.
As soon as you are completely awake and it is still early enough, watch and appreciate the sunrise. This simple activity can already help you with improving yourself by lifting your spirits. In the event that the sun is already up, you can take a walk, run, or jog for about 20 minutes just to shrug slowness or laziness off your body. After this, you can head back inside the house and continue with your morning ritual.
The next step is about eating the right breakfast. If your morning ritual does not include eating breakfast, you should find a way to squeeze it in your schedule. Simply being fully awake and alert is not enough to start your day right. You need to have sufficient energy to help you fulfill your everyday tasks. If you do not have time to cook, you may opt for cereals, granola bar, fresh fruits, or milk. These foods are all better as compared to skipping breakfast.
The third and final step for your self improvement is the easiest to do – smile. You only need to smile at other people as you go to different places. As people smile back at you, your spirits will definitely be uplifted and before you notice it, the rest of your day becomes more progressive and gratifying.
